Auto Apply Systems
Rather than produce another “me too” printer/applicator, with tamp-arm, third-party print engine and complicated media path, our engineers took a fresh approach to designing a practical, reliable system to simplify the process of automatic labelling of cartons, packs and pallets.
The result was our advanced AutoApply Systems range, designed and built to meet the demands of critical production and distribution environments, using innovative applicator technologies to produce a less complex system, and setting new standards of performance, reliability, ease of use and of maintenance.
AutoApply applicators use a vacuum wheel on the end of a jointed arm to take the labels from the printer before “wiping” them gently onto the items to be labelled. This method enables precise positioning of either one or two labels on one side or two adjacent sides of an item, and is superior to tamp or tamp/blow systems used in many other applicators, giving greater flexibility of use.
AutoApply Systems deliver true “print and apply” capabilities and are capable of handling complex, variable data labelling tasks. Our powerful Print Server software provides centralised control of all product and label specifications, and can manage multiple products and labels, across multiple printers and lines. CCC can also provide interfaces to client's software systems, to utilise label and product data from ERP, MRP or other sources.
As we specialise in providing complete solutions, our services include advice on EAN and regulatory labelling requirements, installation, commissioning, training (including training of client's technical staff to enable them to carry out basic maintenance on the Systems), support and maintenance.
We build each AutoApply System to order, so we are not limited by set model specifications, but we do produce two standard Systems: the Stand-Alone Model, designed to stand beside an existing conveyor system; and the Pallet Applicator.
Our AutoApply Systems have been selected by major companies throughout Australia and New Zealand, such as Nestlé, Philip Morris, Amcor, NZMP, Carter Holt Harvey, Frucor and The Original Juice Company.
